Hello
My interest in “Billiards” started when I was about 11 years old. I started playing Snooker while my Father “Delsy” frequented the Waterloo Club, a private men’s Club in Waterloo, Ontario. The table was an Old Samuel May, with warped slate and insanely tight pockets. My Father was in the vending Business and about 1972 Coin operated pool tables were allowed into hotels in Canada. My Mother had taught me how to upholster banks on shuffleboards and I would do upholstering of bar chairs and restaurant benches. This was well before MacDonald’s and the big restaurant chains of today. So when it came time to re-cloth the pool tables I was game to do it . From this time on I thought about one day getting into the business of fixing pool tables.
Six months after marrying I saw an opportunity to start into the billiard business. So I got a tool box some business cards and went on the road. From 1982 until 1988 I serviced & fixing 100′s pool & snooker tables in bars, pool halls and homes. I also sold several lines of tables as well as did the odd restoration. During these years I came to see good and poor designs in tables. Late in 1989 I set up a small wood shop and started building my own tables. Here is a picture of the first table I built.

Since then I have designed and built many custom tables and restored several Antique Pool & Snooker Tables.
When it comes to the mechanics of a pool or snooker table. I can help.
